FOSTER CARE / ADOPTION

Whole-Family Foster Care —

The Kindred Family Focus Whole-Family Foster Care program offers intensive support and collaborative services for at-risk parents where the parent or county maintain custody of the children. Skilled foster parents work with families to 1) teach parenting skills through modeling parenting techniques, setting examples, and providing education, and 2) improve the family’s communication and relationship skills.

  • Trauma-sensitive care
  • Program where the whole family can be placed together in the foster home
  • Trained foster parents work with families to teach parenting skills
  • Provides in-home supervision of parent and child interactions
  • Helps families improve communication and relationship skills
  • Flexible and individualized placements
