Nexus has named Paula Minske as its new Vice President of Clinical Services. Minske had previously served as the organization’s Director of Clinical Services.
Minske came to Nexus in September 2014 as the Clinical Director of Mille Lacs Academy in Onamia, MN, and was promoted to Associate Director at Mille Lacs before moving to the corporate office in 2016 as Director of Clinical Services.
In her new role as Vice President of Clinical Services, Minske will oversee clinical policies and initiatives for the organization and will supervise Nexus’ Director of Performance and Outcomes and Director of Quality and Community Services to ensure clinical integrity of all Nexus programs and services.
CEO and President Dr. Michelle K. Murray said, “Paula has a strong background in clinical management and has the vision to take Nexus services to the next level for the children and families we serve. We are fortunate to have her on our team.”
Minske said, “I look forward to working to ensure that Nexus programs create long-lasting positive change for our youth, families, and communities.”
Minske has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Minnesota-Duluth; a Master of Science in Community Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Cloud State University; and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She also completed intensive Dialectical Behavior Training.
Nexus is a national nonprofit, 501c(3) organization that provides safe placements and specialized services to help youth with high level emotional and behavioral needs and trauma.
