Boys’ Unhealthy Sexual Behaviors —
Programs for Boys Ages 11-20

Boys who come to Onarga Academy for harmful sexual behaviors have issues surrounding sexual behavior initiated by a child or adolescent toward another child, adolescent, or adult, including personal victimization, sexual behaviors, sexually-reactive behaviors, sexual perpetration, family relationships, abusive behavior, empathy, aggression, cognitive distortions, reactive attachment disorder, and trauma-based mental health issues.

Onarga Academy programming also addresses harmful sexual behaviors with lower intellectual functioning (IQs from 55-70) who have significant mental health issues, harmful sexual behaviors, sexually reactive behaviors, pervasive developmental delays, and/or other special needs. These youth may also struggle with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome/Effect, Attention Deficit Disorder, Disruptive Behaviors, Impulse Control Disorders, and/or other Brain-Based Disorders. Youth in these programs have been sexually, physically, or emotionally abused.
