The Crisis Nursery serving Wright County is a program of Kindred Family Focus, a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 36-4494707).

Through our parent organization, we are able to offer mental health services for families struggling with a child’s mental health issues. Services include diagnostic assessments, individual and family therapy, and children’s therapeutic services and supports (CTSS), available in the family’s home or our office.

Parents can also take part in our weekly Circle of Parents support group, led by trained facilitators, and enjoy a healthy meal and free childcare during the meetings.

In 2015, The Crisis Nursery serving Wright County saw a 91% increase in client contacts, through interactions like the following:
  • 949 client contacts;
  • 365 phone consults;
  • 200 support visits; and
  • We placed a total of 61 children, using 207 days of daycare and 58 days of overnight care in licensed homes.
  • We gave out over 3,150 diapers and 98 packs of diaper wipes.
  • We were able to give 345 children new pajamas and blankets, serving 147 families, thanks to the incredible support at our annual Pajama Drive.
